Meris

Meris Veterinary Rehabilitation Assistant

My name is Meris. I developed my passion for animals when I joined The Equestrian Center as a volunteer. Having worked with horses and the students for seven years prompted my desire to work with animals as a career. Working as a volunteer allowed me to make a difference in the lives of both the horses and students. Helping students achieve potential was pleasing to me. Giving retired work horses a new purpose in life was greatly satisfying.

Currently, I have two Goldendoodles named Shelby and Willow. Due to an injury, as a puppy, Willow has three legs. Seeing Willow's recovery delights me considering how easy it has become, once again, for her to do every-day activities.

With my resulting passion, I am excited to be a part of the Village Vet team.
