Although she’s a proud Buckeye, Dr. Flanagan is a native of the Kalamazoo area. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in biology from Hope College, but in order to pursue her Master of Science degree in biology at Bowling Green State University, she moved to Ohio. After 10 years, she moved back to southwest Michigan due to her love of the area, and close proximity to family.

Dr. Flanagan's family includes her husband and two children. She has a dog, three cats, a snake, poison dart frogs, aquatic salamanders, and several fish. Dr. Flanagan's veterinary interests include dentistry and internal medicine, but in her free time, she enjoys bird watching, knitting, and traveling.

Kayleigh

Dr. Kayleigh Pivonka DVM

Dr. Pivonka graduated from Lincoln Memorial University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2020.  She initially worked at a mixed animal practice and quickly recognized the benefit of incorporating Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine into her practice.  Soft tissue surgery and acupuncture are two of her favorite aspects of veterinary medicine.  Currently, Dr. Pivonka only offers Acupuncture, but hopes to add more aspects of TCVM to her repertoire.  Outside of the office, her two horses, various poultry, cats, dog and martial arts take up the majority of her time.

Michelle

Dr. Michelle Rivera

I am a veterinarian who graduated in 2013 from UdeG (University of Guadalajara) in Mexico. Currently, I am in the process of getting my veterinary license to practice in the USA. I am seeking to get my specialty in soft tissue surgery or ophthalmology in small animals. In my free time, I love being outdoors (surfing, hiking or camping) or cooking with my husband.  I love to travel to different countries and get immersed in their cultures and cuisine. I have one cat, his name is Vincent.
