She received a Bachelor of Science degree in biology from Hope College, but in order to pursue her Master of Science degree, she moved to Ohio. After 10 years, she moved back to southwest Michigan due to her love of the area, and close proximity to family.

Dr. Flanagan's family includes her husband and two adult children. She has three cats, a snake, poison dart frogs, aquatic salamanders, and several fish. Dr. Flanagan's veterinary interests include dentistry, palliative, hospice and geriatric care, but in her free time, she enjoys bird watching, knitting, and traveling.

Dr. Kayleigh Pivonka DVM

Dr. Pivonka graduated from Lincoln Memorial University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2020.  She initially worked at a mixed animal practice and quickly recognized the benefit of incorporating Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine into her practice.  Soft tissue surgery and acupuncture are two of her favorite aspects of veterinary medicine.  Currently, Dr. Pivonka only offers Acupuncture, but hopes to add more aspects of TCVM to her repertoire.  Outside of the office, her two horses, various poultry, cats, dog and martial arts take up the majority of her time.

Dr. Michelle Rivera

Dr. Michelle Rivera is a veterinarian who graduated in 2013 from UdeG (University of Guadalajara) in Mexico. Dr. Rivera has a limited veterinary license and is in the process of getting her full veterinary license to practice in the USA. Dr. Rivera is seeking to specialize in soft tissue surgery or ophthalmology in small animals.

In her free time, she loves being outdoors (surfing, hiking or camping) or cooking with her husband. She loves to travel to different countries and get immersed in their cultures and cuisine. She has one cat; his name is Vincent.
